Adding a Withdrawal Management unit with 10 beds for sub-acute detoxification services.
Relocating our residential treatment programs into the new facility.
Extending treatment through aftercare services including intensive outpatient, outpatient, and sober living opportunities.
Understanding
The Need
Addiction has a more significant physical toll on women.
Women experience higher rates of liver disease, cancer, circulatory issues and other serious health problems due to alcohol abuse.
75% of women who enter SUD treatment programs report having experienced physical/sexual abuse.
Females with SUD are 7 times more likely to suffer from depression.
Women have a more direct impact on their children's health and quality of life.
Children of alcoholic households are 4 times more likely to develop problems with alcohol themselves.
The Impact
The Our Hope Walker Facility will be the only women's SUD treatment program with a complete continuum of care in all 36 counties we serve.
